Book NowA special celebration for families who took part in the You Choose! Surreal Landscapes Family Project.
Join artist Rachel Sim to be the first families to take part in the new workshop inspired by the project before it opens to the public.
We will visit the galleries to see your chosen artworks in the Forbidden Territories exhibition, look and draw together, then return to the studios for creative making and party food.
The new Forbidden Territories Art Pod and gallery trail will also be available throughout the day.
This project is for families with children aged 4 to 12 years old. Babies and younger siblings are welcome too. Children must not be left unaccompanied. This celebration event is for families who attended at least one project session in 2024.
The celebration event is FREE. Families will receive free car parking or have public transport costs reimbursed.
If you wish to visit the gallery spaces before or after the session, please collect a ticket from the welcome desk. Entry to the galleries is FREE for Wakefield residents, members, carers and under 18s. Non-Wakefield families will receive complimentary exhibition tickets for the same day they attend project sessions.
