Entry to Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life, across all ten gallery spaces, is charged at £12 / £10. Free entry for Members, Wakefield District residents, under 16s and carers accompanying disabled visitors.

Members can collect their free tickets from the welcome desk on arrival at the gallery and do not need to book in advance. Become a Member here.

Wakefield district residents, children aged 16 and under, and carers accompanying disabled visitors also receive free entry.* Speak to our Visitor Welcome Assistants on arrival at the gallery to receive your ticket.

Photography is permitted in the galleries, for personal use only.

Please note we don’t allow:

  • Flash photography
  • Selfie sticks
  • You to take photographs of children without their permission

If you wish to use a tripod, this must be booked in advance, please contact marketing@hepworthwakefield.org to arrange this.

Lost Property

The Hepworth Wakefield does not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to visitors property or for finding lost items. Every effort will be made to ensure that lost property found at The Hepworth Wakefield is kept safe until it can be returned to the owner.

The Hepworth Wakefield will record and retain lost property for 3 months. As a charity we are not in a position to return property by post or parcel. If you are unable to return to the gallery to collect it then we suggest you arrange for a courier to collect your property and notify us of the arrangements made.
