Family Workshops
From carving soap sculptures to making Barbara Hepworth-inspired hats, our family workshops are designed for curious kids and their grown-ups to have fun and learn new skills to practice at home.
Our artist-led workshops happen every Sunday throughout the year and on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday during Wakefield school holidays.
Suitable for families with children aged 2 – 12. No need to book, drop-in 11am – 4pm (closed for lunch 1 – 1.30pm).
FREE for kids
Family workshops are FREE with an exhibition ticket.
Exhibition tickets are FREE for Members, Wakefield District residents and under 18s.
Non-Wakefield families can get 50% off adult exhibition tickets when visiting with children during the Wakefield school holidays.
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Childminder or nursery groups may join our family activities, at the same ratio of three children per adult.
