Family Workshop: Spring Drawing

Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, Thursday 9, Sunday 12 April. drop-in 11am - 4pm (closed for lunch 1 - 1.30pm)

Suitable for families with children aged 2 - 12 years old

The Hepworth Wakefield Garden is a place for nature, people and art. Discover the birds, plants and trees that live in our garden with creative looking and drawing activities.

Move through the Clore learning studio to create a ‘garden of drawings’ featuring birds, plants and trees. Join in large drawing activities and try out new materials and techniques or make your own spring-themed drawings to take home.

Please note

Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.

Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.

Childminder  or nursery groups may join our family activities, at the same ratio of three children per adult.

Ticket offer for families

Family activities are FREE with an exhibition ticket.  Exhibition tickets are FREE for Members, Wakefield District residents and under 18s.

Non-Wakefield residents can get 50% off a standard adult ticket when visiting with a child during the Wakefield school holidays  (Saturday 28 March – Sunday 12 April).

Use discount code  FAMILY50 when booking online or in person. (One discounted adult ticket per child).   Full price entry to the exhibitions is £13 / £11 .
