Family Workshop: Sculpt and Play
Sun 10 Nov, drop-in 11am-3.45pm (closed for lunch 1 - 1.30pm)
Suitable for families with children aged 2 - 12 years old.
Play with materials to explore the hollows and holes of Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures.
Visit the galleries with your family to discover Hepworth’s sculptures. Look at the textures and shapes in the artworks and experiment with making your own sculptures using your kit of sensory textiles shapes.
In the Clore learning studios squish, twist, roll and carve colourful modelling materials to make your own Hepworth-inspired mini sculpture.
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.
Exhibition entry is £13 / £11. FREE for Members, Wakefield district residents and under 18s.
