February half-term

Imagine and play with us every day during February half-term!

With an array of activities including drop-in workshops, Art Pods and activity kits, it’s the perfect opportunity to get creative as a family.

Bring a packed lunch to enjoy in our  indoor picnic area, or visit our café to enjoy lunch, cake and a hot chocolate.

The Hepworth Wakefield is accessible with a quiet space, lift access to the galleries, baby changing facilities and a Changing Places toilet as well as a space to leave buggies and pushchairs.

We can’t wait to welcome you to The Hepworth Wakefield.

Ticket offer for families

Family activities are FREE with an exhibition ticket.

Exhibition tickets are FREE for Members, Wakefield District residents and under 18s.

Non-Wakefield residents can get 50% off a standard adult ticket when visiting with a child during the Wakefield school holidays (Saturday 14 – Sunday 22 February). Use discount code FAMILY50 when booking online or in person. (One discounted adult ticket per child). Full price entry to the exhibitions is £13 / £11 . 

Family Workshop: Printed Pots

Discover the forms, patterns and shapes in the Elizabeth Fritsch: Otherworldly Vessels exhibition through creative looking and drawing activities.

In the Clore learning studios experiment with block printing to make repeat patterns and create your own printed paper pot to take home.
