Family Workshop: Soap Carving

Explore Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures and collect drawings of shapes and textures in her work. then in the Clore learning studios make your own Hepworth-inspired carved artwork. You will use soap and wooden tools to scrape, make holes, shape and add texture to your sculpture.

 

Please note

Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.

Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.

Exhibition entry is £13 / £11. FREE for Members, Wakefield district residents and under 18s. Non-Wakefield families can get 50% off adult tickets when visiting with children during the Wakefield school holidays. Use discount code: FAMILY50
