Welcome to The Hepworth Wakefield tour programme

First-time visitors

Our Highlights Tour, with one of our friendly tour guides, is a a 30-minute introduction to the life and work of Barbara Hepworth and also includes a selection of works from our wider collection.

If you are interested in a group visit or private introduction to the gallery or garden at a different time, please see our guided tour offer below.

Book for FREE when you buy an exhibition ticket or register at the welcome desk on the day of your visit.

Request a tour

If you wish to visit The Hepworth Wakefield as part of a group we can enhance your time with us by arranging a tour with our guides at a time of your choice.

Please give us at least 7 days’ notice to ensure that we have time to prepare your tour.

Self-guided groups

Pre-booked self-guided groups are eligible to reduced price admission with the option to pay by invoice or on the day of your visit. Your group leader visits for free and self-guided visits are also free for under 18s, accompanying carers, and those living in the Wakefield District.

Schools, colleges and universities

We welcome schools, colleges and universities to the gallery to learn in a creative and inspiring environment through teacher-led visits or artist-led workshops.
