
Teacher-led Visits
Bring your school, college or university to The Hepworth Wakefield and lead your group around our exhibitions and garden. FREE for all pre-booked learning groups.
Our exhibitions offer exciting learning opportunities and we encourage everyone to draw, look, think, discuss and create during their visit.
Resources
We have a range of physical teacher-led resources you can hire to support your visit to the gallery and garden, including Exploring Art Kits, Garden Sketchbooks and Sensory SEND Resources.
Our Exhibition Notes for KS3-4 students explore key themes, artists and artworks within the exhibitions.
You can also book our class-size lockers and indoor picnic area for free as part of your visit.
Drawing at The Hepworth
You are welcome to bring your own sketchbooks, clipboards and paper (A3 or smaller) or hire our Exploring Art Kits.
To protect the artworks we don’t allow wet materials or sharp tools in the galleries such as pens, paints, charcoal, playdough, oil pastels, scissors.
Pre-visits
For staff who would like to do a pre-visit, we offer a complimentary ticket to the gallery. To arrange, please contact learning@hepworthwakefield.org.
