Exploring Art Kits
Borrow our Exploring Art Kits and help students discover artworks, discuss ideas and draw creatively in the galleries.
For KS1 & KS2
These Exploring Art Kits are designed to be shared 1 between 2, and include A5 clipboards, paper, pencils, looking tools and handling objects to use while exploring our exhibitions.
Accompanying the kits are activity prompt cards for staff to use with pupils. These include a series of looking, discussing and drawing prompts.
For KS3 & KS4
These Exploring Art Kits are designed for students to use independently in the galleries. They include A5 clipboards, paper and pencils for every student.
An accompanying A5 booklet for each student has ideas to support new and creative ways of looking, drawing and thinking about art.

£10 to hire a set for 34 students for the day

Teacher-led resources can be booked as part of your visit by completing our online enquiry form.
Please book teacher-led visits at least two weeks in advance.
What's included
KS1 & KS2
The kit includes enough packs for 34 students, shared 1 between 2. Each pack includes:
- A5 clipboards with a variety of paper
- Graphite pencils
- Coloured pencils
- Viewfinders
- Hepworth inspired looking tools
- Natural objects
- Sets of prompt cards for staff to use with pupils that include looking, discussion and drawing ideas.
KS3 & KS4
The kit is for up to 34 students and includes:
- A5 clipboards
- Variety of A5 paper
- Graphite pencils
- 4-page A5 booklet with looking, thinking and drawing prompts and activities.
Cancellation policy for resources
Cancellation of resources must be made more than 14 days before the date of your visit (not including the date of the visit).
If cancelled more than 14 days in advance, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within the 14-day period will be liable for the full cost of the booking, however if you rearrange your visit within the same academic year we are happy to honour your resource booking for the rearranged date.
