Woven Textural Wall Hanging

Sat 27 Aug 2022, 10.30am - 4pm

Create your own woven textural wall hanging with Leeds based designer Agnis Smallwood. Taking inspiration from our current Sheila Hicks exhibition, you will be shown a range of different weaving techniques to experiment with and combine within the design of your wall hanging.

Using a simple wooden frame to create exciting, colourful textures, you will use a variety of yarns to create a new work for your home, or to give as a gift. Agnis will offer one to one support and give demonstrations. This workshop is perfect for beginners or those with some experience of looking to create a new work inspired by Sheila Hicks.
