Exploring Art Kits
Suitable for KS1 - KS4
Borrow our Exploring Art Kits and help students discover artworks, discuss ideas and draw creatively in the galleries.
Our Exploring Art Kits are designed to be shared 1 between 2, and include A5 clipboards, paper, pencils, looking tools and handling objects for students to use while exploring our exhibitions.
Accompanying the kits are activity cards for teachers to use with their students. These include a series of looking, discussing and drawing prompts, tailored to either Primary or Secondary. You will receive an e-version of these activity prompts when you place your booking, as well as having physical copies for every staff member on the day.

£10 to hire a set for 34 students for the day

Teacher-led resources can be booked as part of your visit by completing our online enquiry form.
Please book teacher-led visits at least two weeks in advance.
WHATS INCLUDED
Each kit includes enough packs for 34 students, shared by students 1 between 2. These include:
- x2 A5 clipboards with a variety of paper
- x2 graphite pencils
- x4 coloured pencils
- x2 viewfinders
- x2 Hepworth inspired looking tools
- x2 natural objects
Plus, a set of prompt cards for each staff member to use with students that include 8 looking ideas, 8 discussion ideas and 8 drawing ideas.
Cancellation policy for resources
Cancellation of resources must be made more than 14 days before the date of your visit (not including the date of the visit).
If cancelled more than 14 days in advance, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within the 14-day period will be liable for the full cost of the booking, however if you rearrange your visit within the same academic year we are happy to honour your resource booking for the rearranged date.
