Teacher CPD: Exploring Textiles in the Classroom

Book NowJoin artist Harriet Fletcher to explore accessible ways of introducing textiles into the classroom, with practical ideas to take back to school.
Experiment with a range of processes to create soft sculptures and textile works inspired by our new exhibition Mrinalini Mukherjee: Unbound Forms.
The CPD session will focus on creative ways to manipulate fibres and textiles to create artwork. It is designed to use limited sewing skills, but will include a few simple ways of introducing these into the classroom.
This session is suitable for primary and secondary teachers, school staff and art educators.
All materials and equipment will be provided.
Refreshments and registration is available from 3.45pm for a 4pm start.
