Schools & Colleges: Investigating Sculpture Study Day
Thurs 22 Feb, 10am - 2.15pm, FREE
Suitable for KS4 / Years 10-11 / Level 2
Work with artist Gillian Brent to develop knowledge and understanding of sculpture inspired by our exhibition Kim Lim: Space, Rhythm & Light. Through a series of activities in the galleries students will explore key themes, materials and processes in Kim Lim’s sculptures.
In our Clore Learning Studios students will then experiment with materials to produce their own sculptures inspired by their mornings discoveries. Developing skills and techniques they will assemble, construct and create a series of 3D artwork before curating a mini exhibition of their work.

Cancellation Terms
In the event of cancellation, a notification of cancellation should be sent to the Learning Team via email at learning@hepworthwakefield.org. If you notify us of the cancellation of your booking less than 14 days before the event (or any part thereof), including failure to turn up on the day, you will incur a charge of £10 per student cancelled.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking in the event of the gallery being unexpectedly closed, e.g. due to extreme weather conditions.
