Plant to Page

18 Sept 2021, 10.30am - 4pm

Please note this event has been rescheduled from July 2021. Tickets from July are still valid.

Please contact our membership team for your member discount code.

Join Helen Thomas for a mark making workshop based on plants in The Hepworth Wakefield Garden.

You will work in monochrome, exploring line, texture and tone using a range of dry and wet media including pencils, ink, gouache and improvised drawing tools on paper. The workshop focuses on the process and experience of seeing through drawing rather than creating a finished artwork.

At the end of the workshop you’ll come away with a small hand-made concertina book of your drawings, as well as several pages of sketches / drawing exercises, up to A1 in size.

Book Your Place

Half of the allocated places are offered to Members at the discounted rate of 25% off, sold on a first come, first served basis.  Become a Member.
