Family Workshop: Sculpture Creatures

Make your own imaginary creature inspired by the sculptures in the Mrinalini Mukherjee: Unbound Forms – Women Sculptors of India and Bangladesh exhibition.

Explore the artworks in the exhibition and make your own textured sculptures using soft sculpture kit.

In the Clore Learning Studio use cardboard, paper, string and plasticine to create your own cardboard creature. Roll, shape and press into plasticine, add shapes, string and textures to make a fun character to take home.

Younger children can explore textures, form and stacking objects in floor based experimental play.

 

Please note

Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.

Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.

Exhibition entry is £14 / £12.50. FREE for Members, Wakefield District residents and under 18s.
