Family Workshop: Festive Lantern Making

Explore the galleries with your family and discover the bright glowing colours in the Ida Ekblad: WORLD’S BIGGEST METAPHOR exhibition. Look out for Ida’s laterns and chandeliers then make your own to decorate your house this Christmas.

Pick up a workshop activity kit from the learning studios to explore the galleries together. Then in the Clore learning studio join our artist team to make your own lantern using festive colours and textured collage.

Please note

Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.

Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.

Childminder  or nursery groups may join our family activities, at the same ratio of three children per adult.
