Body-scapes

Tue 31 Dec, Wed 1 Jan, Thurs 2 Jan, Sun 12 Jan, 11am - 4pm

Drop-in 11am - 4pm, Free

Use your body to make abstract drawings and sculptures inspired by our Christina Quarles exhibition.

Explore the gallery with your family and create interesting drawings using your hands and body parts. Back in the learning studios use your whole body to make giant shapes and transform them into sculptures and drawings.

The gallery and our activities for families can be busy during school holidays and weekends. To help us facilitate an enjoyable experience for all of our visitors we ask that groups of 5 or more children let us know when they plan to visit by contacting the Learning Team on learning@hepworthwakefield.org  or 01924 247398.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 2 – 12, who must be accompanied by an adult.

You will be asked to collect an activity kit from the Learning Studios and go up to the gallery before starting the activity.

This workshop will be closed over lunch from 12.30 – 1pm. Last admittance to the activity will be at 3.30pm.
