Celebrate the work of Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore – two of the greatest modern British artists, both born in the Wakefield District. This full-day workshop explores the international significance of their work on the development of modern sculpture and how the distinct West Yorkshire landscape influenced their making. Spend the morning at The Hepworth Wakefield and apply ideas from key works on display in a sculpture-making workshop. Explore the unique relationship between sculpture and the landscape, spending the afternoon outdoors at Yorkshire Sculpture Park on an interactive artist-led tour.
