Adult Workshops During Covid-19

The Hepworth Wakefield has reopened with carefully planned safety measures in place. We are now pleased to be able to continue our programme of adult workshops in a safe environment.

Before your visit, please familiarise yourself with the adult workshop safety information below.

If you, or a member of your household, have experienced any symptoms of and/or a positive test result for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please do not visit the gallery.

Adult Workshop Safety Measures: Covid-19

• Workshop participants will be seated a safe distance apart and are asked to remain seated. Where participants need to be out of their seats to retrieve materials or use equipment, they will take turns to do this.

• Face coverings must be worn by all staff and participants throughout the building and during the workshop, unless seated to eat or drink. Disposable face coverings are available at the welcome desk.

• Workshop tutors will keep a safe distance from participants.

• Hand sanitiser is available throughout the gallery including in workshop spaces.

• A one way system is in place throughout the gallery and in workshop spaces.

• Equipment will be sanitised between uses and wipes will be provided.

• Disposable gloves are available for all participants.

• Specific safety instructions will be given at the start of each workshop.

• Tables, chairs and surfaces will be cleaned and sanitised between workshops.

• Participants can eat in The Hepworth Café (government guidance for cafés applies) or consume food and drink from the café at their workshop table. Participants can also bring their own food and drink for consumption at their workshop table only.

Participants from the same household

If you are attending a workshop with a member of your own household and would like to be seated together, please inform us upon booking, giving your name, the names of those you live with and the workshop you have booked onto.

Refunds

A two week cancellation policy applies to all workshops. As commercial workshops support our charitable activities, and materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than two weeks before the workshop date should you cancel your place for any reason, including in the event of illness. This includes symptoms of and/or a positive test result for Covid-19.

Should The Hepworth Wakefield need to cancel a workshop for any reason including government sanctions, your ticket will be refunded in full.

Membership

Half of the allocated places are offered to Members at the discounted rate, sold on a first come, first served basis. Become a Member.

The Hepworth Wakefield Shop

Workshop participants receive a voucher for 10% off in the shop during their visit.
