Take part in a specialist art & design masterclass in collaboration with Leeds Arts University to develop skills ahead of applying for college and University.
Students will explore the Bill Brandt /Henry Moore exhibition focusing on the artists practices of photography and sculpture and the connections of these artists to key points in local and global history.
Following this students will take part in 3D making activities in the learning studios exploring the relationship between 2D and 3D art.
The sessions will be led by Gareth Wadkin, lecturer on BA Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design and supported by student ambassadors from a range of courses across the university.
Students will attend unaccompanied. Those under 18 will need a signed consent form from a parent/ guardian.
All materials will be provided, students are welcome to bring their own camera. Please bring a packed lunch.
