For Light Up Wakefield, The Hepworth Wakefield will be illuminated by digital projection artists, Illuminos. A spectacular animation celebrating 100 years of Surrealism – and the natural landscapes found in Surrealist paintings – will be projected across the side of the gallery building.

Celebrate Light Up Wakefield at The Hepworth Wakefield in this multi-sensory creative workshop for children of all ages. Be inspired by our art and exhibitions and play with patterns, texture, layers and colours on light boxes and make your own light catcher to take home. Suitable for families with children aged 2–12.
