This beautifully illustrated monograph is published by Lund Humphries to coincide with the major solo exhibition of Walker’s work of the same name, on show at The Hepworth Wakefield until late-October and touring to Pallant House Gallery, Chichester, in November.

Caroline Walker (b.1982, Dunfermline) studied painting at Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art, London, and is known for her accomplished paintings which offer a lens into the everyday lives of women.
Alex Hyde is a lecturer at University College London. Violets, her first novel, is a fictional reimagining of her father’s story, drawing on family mythology and his personal archives. She lives with her family in South London.
