Barbara Hepworth Acquisition Appeal: Donation Terms & Conditions

Any general donations made through our website from 5 June 2025 until 27 August 2025 will be used towards helping The Hepworth Wakefield acquire ‘Sculpture with Colour (Oval Form) Pale Blue and Red’ (1943).

They will be restricted to this use only unless The Hepworth Wakefield is unable to acquire ‘Sculpture with Colour (Oval Form) Pale Blue and Red’ for any reason, including raising insufficient funds by the deadline of 27 August 2025; or The Hepworth Wakefield raise more funds than are required to purchase ‘Sculpture with Colour (Oval Form) Pale Blue and Red’. In which case, your donation will be used to support The Hepworth Wakefield as a charity (registered charity number 1138117), which may include future acquisitions, exhibitions, tours, education projects or conservation work.

If you donate a gift of £1,000 and above your name will be acknowledged at The Hepworth Wakefield when the sculpture is publicly displayed for the first time. We will contact you once the campaign has ended to confirm acknowledgment details, or whether you would prefer to remain anonymous. Please provide your contact details when donating.

If you are wanting to donate £10,000 or above, please contact the gallery directly via the email address below to discuss and co-ordinate your pledge further.

By making a donation – whether online at hepworthwakefield.org, directly with The Hepworth Wakefield or via Art Fund – you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions.
