Volunteering

We love involving volunteers in the work we do and we want to give opportunities to as wide a range of people as possible. Volunteers bring a wealth of experience and get involved for many different reasons; including a love of art, to gain employability skills, and for social contact. We welcome everyone and hope to be able to support volunteers in their aims as much as they support us in ours.

‘The main reason I volunteer here is because of my keen interest in contemporary art. It means I can do what I enjoy being around the artwork, as well as helping further my studies.

I find my volunteering here particularly enjoyable as I can either be on the galleries welcoming visitors in my Gallery Host role, or be a part of the internal workings of the gallery in my office role.’

Our current opportunities

Our next Volunteer Open Day will be happening towards the end of May 2019. Check back here for the confirmed date and how to get involved.
