Volunteering

We love involving volunteers in the work we do and we want to give opportunities to as wide a range of people as possible. Volunteers bring a wealth of experience and get involved for many different reasons; a love of art; to gain employability skills; social contact; and many more. We welcome everyone and hope to be able to support volunteers in their aims as much as they support us in ours.

‘The main reason I volunteer here is because of my keen interest in contemporary art. It means I can do what I enjoy being around the artwork, as well as helping further my studies.

I find my volunteering here particularly enjoyable as I can either be on the galleries welcoming visitors in my Gallery Host role, or be a part of the internal workings of the gallery in my office role.’
