Open call for Harvest Festival and Festive Market stallholders

13 May 2024

Applications to host a stall at The Hepworth Wakefield’s Festive Market and a newly announced Harvest Festival are now open. If you are an emerging or established UK-based independent artist, designer, maker or food and drink provider, we’d love to hear from you.

Harvest Festival
Sat 21 – 22 Sept 2024, 10am – 4pm
(Preview Fri 20 Sept 2024, 7 – 9pm)

The Hepworth Wakefield will be celebrating the start of autumn with a brand-new event in its fairs and markets calendar.

The Hepworth Wakefield Harvest Festival will encompass a seasonal market, family activities in the galleries, Clore learning studios and garden, live music and street food. We hope visitor numbers will be comparable to our Print Fair, which in March 2024 welcomed just over 4000 visitors across the weekend and preview event.

Applications are now open for emerging and established UK-based independent artists, designers, makers, food and drink providers, and specialist retailers/store owners. If you make or sell artisan food and drink, books, blankets, candles, ceramics, fabrics and textiles, home and kitchenware, plants and floristry, prints, vintage items, vinyl and seasonal produce, we’d welcome your application.

Festive Market
Sat 23 – 24 Nov 2024, 10am – 4pm
Sat 30 Nov – Sun 1 Dec 2024, 10am – 4pm
(Preview Fri 22 Nov 2024, 7 – 9pm)

We are delighted to announce that our popular Festive Market returns this winter, taking place across two weekends.

Each weekend will feature family activities in the galleries and Clore learning studios, choirs/brass bands and street food – alongside a festive offer in The Hepworth Wakefield shop and café – to ensure a well-attended, vibrant event. In 2023, we welcomed just over 13,000 visitors across the two Festive Market weekends and preview event.

Applications are now open and welcomed from emerging and established UK-based independent artists, designers, makers and producers working in ceramics, cosmetics and aromatics, food and drink, gifts for children, homeware, jewellery, plants and floristry, prints, stationery and textiles.
