Jessica Jackson Hutchins (b.1971, Chicago, USA) lives and works in Portland, Oregon. Hutchins’ expressive studio practice produces dynamic sculptural installations, collages, paintings, and large-scale ceramics. Her first solo exhibition in Europe was held at Timothy Taylor Gallery in London in October 2010, following her inclusion in the Whitney Biennial, New York, in 2010. In 2011 Hutchins was included in the 11th Lyon Biennale and held her first solo museum presentation at the ICA in Boston, USA.
From February to May 2013, The Hepworth Wakefield hosted the first solo exhibition in a UK public art gallery by Jessica Jackson Hutchins.
