Schools & Colleges: Creative Careers Day

Wed 12 March, 10am - 2.15pm, FREE

Suitable for students in KS4 / Years 10-11

Inspire your students to see the possibilities of a career in the creative industries in this special event with The Hepworth Wakefield and University of Leeds.

During the day students will have the opportunity to meet professionals, learn about the breadth of careers in the arts and discover skills relevant for creative careers.

The event will introduce the exciting creative industries within the region. Hands-on workshops with practising artists and student ambassadors will focus on developing skills that are integral to creative careers. In the afternoon students will join professionals for a carousel event with the opportunity to find out more about their roles, the skills they use and require, and the career paths they’ve taken.

The day has been designed to support schools in Gatsby benchmarks 2, 4, 5 and 6.

FREE, cancellation fees apply / Max. 15 students per school

“The day was packed with engaging content. It was very impactful in a highly positive way. It raised aspirations, informed, educated and developed skills, opened minds and offered direction.” Trinity Academy Cathedral
