Volunteering
We love involving volunteers in the work we do and we aim to provide opportunities to a wide a range of people to represent the local area and embody its diverse and vibrant population.
Volunteers are an invaluable part of our team and get involved for many different reasons – it can be a great way of supporting us, gaining experience, being close to art, using existing skills and providing social enrichment. We welcome people over the age of 18 from all backgrounds, abilities and career stages. You do not need to know a lot about art to volunteer with us, we only ask for enthusiasm and passion for the work we do.
“I feel privileged to volunteer in such a fabulous building amongst exciting and ever changing exhibitions. It’s great to be part of a team welcoming and helping visitors, and to be close up to so many amazing works of art”
