Yoga Day Retreat

Join experienced Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic practitioner Sophia Senior of Unity Yoga and Unwind Your Mind Yoga for an immersive one-day retreat focused on promoting your physical health and mental wellbeing. The day will be a deep yogic immersion beginning on an energising high and descending into deep relaxation.

We will open with a physical asana yoga practice, moving fluidly through sequences, balances and stretches. The practice will be accompanied by live Tabla music, adding a new and meditative element to the session. After lunch we will do Pranayama breathing techniques and mudra work (energetic seals with the hands), before finally moving to the floor for the delightful practice of Yoga Nidra, an active meditation that brings the body and mind to a blissful state between wakefulness and sleeping.
