Printed Lanterns

Sat 3 & Sun 4 March, 11am - 4pm

Free

Drop-in 11am - 4pm, Free

During The Hepworth Wakefield’s Print Fair join us to make your own printed lantern to take home. Inspired by our exhibition Anthony McCall: Solid Light Works  you will work with artist Helen Peyton to explore light, shapes and lines before creating your own block print to transform into your very own lantern.

Please note

The gallery and our activities for families can be busy during school holidays and weekends. To help us facilitate an enjoyable experience for all of our visitors we ask that groups of 5 or more children let us know when they plan to visit by contacting the Learning Team on learning@hepworthwakefield.org or 01924 247398.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 2 – 12, who must be accompanied by an adult.

You will be asked to collect an activity kit from the Learning Studios and go up to the gallery before starting the activity.

This workshop will be closed over lunch from 12.30 – 1pm. Last admittance to the activity will be at 3.30pm.
