A Living Collection

A Living Collection address contemporary issues, shift historic imbalances in Wakefield's are collection or enrich narratives explored by artists in shifting contexts. Artists on display include Jadé Fadojutimi, Jake Grewal, Lewis Hammond and Bronwyn Katz alongside sculptures by Barbara Hepworth.

Play with materials to explore the hollows and holes of Barbara Hepworth's sculptures. Visit the galleries with your family to discover Hepworth’s sculptures then in the learning studios squish, twist, roll and carve colourful modelling materials to make your own mini sculpture.

Jamaican-born sculptor Ronald Moody is one of the most significant artists of the 20th century and this major exhibition will explore the development of Moody’s art as well as his contribution and impact on British and international art history.
