Sat 11 January 2020, 10.30am - 4pm
This one day workshop is an ideal opportunity to explore monoprinting using both oil based and water based inks and techniques.
Inspired by David Hockney and Alan Davie and David Hockney: Early Works, participants will experiment with mark making, layers, stencils and colour to produce a series of multicoloured layered prints.
Participants will spend the majority of the day printing and experimenting but there will be time allocated for introduction, demonstrations of equipment/techniques and looking at the exhibitions for inspiration.
No previous drawing skills are required.
