In the galleries, explore the artworks looking out for colour, textures and shapes in Sheila Hicks’ works. Work together with your family to draw and make a simple sculpture using paper and yarn.
In the learning studios, make your own Sheila Hicks-inspired textiles sculpture. Use yarns, fabrics, wadding and recycled materials to wrap and build your own colourful artwork to take home.
Drop-in workshops are FREE with an exhibition ticket
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.
Entry to the galleries is £12 /£10 / FREE for Members, Wakefield district residents and under 18s. Concessions are available. Book tickets for the galleries here.
