Drypoint Printmaking Workshop
10 Mar 2018, 2 - 4.30pm
Create a Drypoint intaglio print using our School Prints exhibition for inspiration.
During the workshop you will make a drypoint plate by working different mark making tools into plastic, before experimenting with inking and wiping methods to create unique prints.
Drypoint is a great starting point for learning the basics of Intaglio printmaking as it is one of the most direct methods and doesn’t require specialist materials, chemicals and complicated processes. At the end of the session you will have acquired the skills to make Drypoint plates at home and be inspired to keep on printing.
