Ceramic Study Day
Monday 20 May 2019, 10am - 3pm
Key Stage 3 classes can study the art of ceramics in this special study day.
The day will start with a guided tour around our current exhibition Magdalene Odundo: The Journey of Things. Students will then go on to explore the history of studio ceramics and how it relates to Odundo’s work. In the afternoon students will take part in a practical workshop exploring Odundo’s practice and learning how to hand build clay vessels.
10am – 12pm Session 1
12 – 1pm Lunch
1 – 3pm Session 2
Suitable for Key Stage 3 students.
This is a free event, but booking is required (cancellation terms apply). Teachers can book a maximum of 15 places per school.
Please ask students to bring a packed lunch. Materials and refreshments provided.

If you notify us of the cancellation of your booking less than 14 days before the event (or any part thereof), including failure to turn up on the day, you will incur a charge of £10 per student cancelled.
