The Printed Peanut

The Printed Peanut is an ever-expanding collection of illustrated items for the home, designed by Louise Lockhart. All products are manufactured in the UK and aim to use eco-friendly materials wherever possible.

Shop The Printed Peanut products on The Hepworth Wakefield’s Instagram as part of the Online Christmas Fair on 4–6 December.

In 2012, Louise was working in a beautiful stationery shop in Vancouver which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Realising there was a gap on the market for quality party games, she began making her version of Pass the Parcel (fuelled on peanut butter) and so The Printed Peanut was born. The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation, but is now based in Yorkshire, UK.

Louise lives and works in an old cotton mill where she spends her days creating designs from paper cut outs and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products including toys, games, clothes and pieces for your home. Louise is also a freelance illustrator, working on children’s books and collaborating with clients such as Boden, Anthropologie, Liberty and Heal’s.
